Service Description

Our handstripping service includes everything a full groom does except that we pluck the outer guard hairs from the follicle by hand instead of using clippers or trimmers. These older dull hairs are easy to pull out and by doing so they leave room for new stronger hairs to grow through. This ensures that the coat will have a fuller, shinier texture and a more vibrant colour. Handstripping is a technique used predominantly on wire haired breeds.
